2016 ESG Program
Emergency Solutions Grant Program Proposal Submissions
The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) published the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the 2016 Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) on May 16, 2016. For information regarding this funding opportunity, visit HCD's 2016 ESG Page. HCD will only accept ESG funding applications that have been reviewed by, and chosen for recommendation by, the Continuum of Care that serves the geographical area in which the applicant's project is operating or will operate.
Please note that the TCCoC's 2016 Local Priorities are in alignment with those expressed by HCD, with emphasis on the local need for Rapid Rehousing services and prioritization of the most vulnerable individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Additional information regarding local priorities, can be found in the TCCoC's Policies & Procedures Manual.
To be considered for recommendation by the TCCoC, applicants must submit their requests by June 10, 2016 using the process described below.

Download the 2016 ESG Application, 2016 ESG Notice of Funding Availability, and Budget Workbook from HCD's website. Familiarize yourself with the program, the rules, and the eligible activities. Applicants are responsible for following these guidelines, and any projects submitted for review by the TCCoC will that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.
