2021 Point-in-Time Count
Every other year in January, communities across the country conduct comprehensive counts and voluntary surveys of people experiencing homelessness in their areas. The information gathered during these counts informs plans for addressing homelessness on local, state and national levels, and the outreach contacts made during the count allow people experiencing homelessness to get information about services available to them locally. The next Tehama County Continuum of Care Point-in-Time (PIT) Count will be conducted on February 17, 2021. (The count was originally scheduled for January 27, 2021 but had to be postponed due to weather.)
Volunteer Surveyors are instrumental to our ability to conduct a successful and accurate PIT Count. To register as a PIT Count Volunteer Surveyor, complete and submit the form below. A surveyor training was provided on January 14, 2021. Surveyors who register after this date will be sent a link to the recorded training to view prior to the day of the count.
