2021 Point-in-Time Count
Every other year in January, communities across the country conduct comprehensive counts and voluntary surveys of people experiencing homelessness in their areas. The information gathered during these counts informs plans for addressing homelessness on local, state and national levels, and the outreach contacts made during the count allow people experiencing homelessness to get information about services available to them locally. The next Tehama County Continuum of Care Point-in-Time (PIT) Count will be conducted on January 27, 2021.
Volunteer Surveyors are instrumental to our ability to conduct a successful and accurate PIT Count. Volunteers will be provided with training via Zoom in mid-January and can put together their own teams or ask to be assigned to a team by PIT Count coordinators.
